Data Protection and Security
You can't afford any downtime, or data loss. Period.
Data integrity is the number one priority here at Oasis Computing. Our managed hosting clients have never experienced any data loss, nor have their systems ever been down in over 15 years. Our relentless commitment to uninterrupted, responsive online services for our clients and their members means we are constantly looking for ways to improve through new technology while at the same time, not exposing our clients to bleeding-edge technology until it’s been proven in the marketplace.
That's why we are moving our entire platform into the new Azure Cloud Platform. Not only for it's high performance but also for it's state-of-the-art disaster recovery infrastructure.
Microsoft's highly secure, enterprise grade, hyper-scale cloud is delivered from within your local Region, with dozens of regions available worldwide. Azure customers gain the benefits of Microsoft’s trusted cloud services combined with data residency in your home country. This includes data redundancy in multiple locations within your country for business continuity.
The Microsoft Cloud is a global leader in compliance with the broadest portfolio of certifications in the industry. Azure has received ISO 27001 certification and are audited under the SSAE 16/ISAE 3402 SOC 1 and SOC 2 standards. In addition, Microsoft was the first cloud service provider to adopt the uniform international code of practice for cloud privacy and data protection, ISO/IEC 27018, which provides guidelines for protection of personally identifiable information.
Disaster recovery (DR) is focused on recovering from a catastrophic loss of application functionality. For example, if a data centre hosting your application becomes unavailable, you need a plan for running your application or accessing your data in another region.
Business and technology owners must determine how much functionality is required during a disaster. This level of functionality can take a few forms: completely unavailable, partially available via reduced functionality or delayed processing, or fully available. Resiliency and high availability strategies are intended to handling temporary failure conditions. Executing this plan involves people, processes, and supporting applications that allow the system to continue functioning. Your plan should include rehearsing failures and testing the recovery of databases to ensure the plan is sound.
Being hosted by Oasis Compuiting, means that your enterprise will be safegaurded from any unplanned down-time through our adpotion of Azure Site Recovery best practices. As part of a sound disaster recovery plan, our tech team will work with you to assess and evaluate all possible disaster recovery scenerios on a regular bases.
